Giancarlo Foglietta

Giancarlo Foglietta was born in Todi (Perugia-Italy), where he currently lives and works. From an early age he began to approach art by researching and developing his own style. During his career he collaborated with various painters who helped him grow and mature artistically.  Over the years he has participated in several reviews of contemporary art obtaining various awards; he has exhibited his works in several personal exhibitions and his paintings are preserved in private collections. 

With the passing of time and the evolution of his technique, he has created a strictly personal pictorial strand that characterizes him: he has avoided the graphic layout and focused on colour and light, creating works of clear abstract tendency, characterized by colour spots and resins that he personally prepares with great skill and knowledge. Always interested in experimenting with new techniques, he has created material works with materials, colors and special practices that make his works unique.
