Yukio Imamura defines herself as an extreme painter. She represents infinitely small work with her Quarks series, elementary atom particles but also infinitely big creations too. Her paintings revolve around macrocosm and microcosm.
An eager and curious artist, Imamura tries to explore various universes, several themes and techniques. For a while now, she has been fascinated by Nigerian art and addresses it in her own unique way, given her unique multi-cultural background.
