Fumihiro Ueko was born in 1982 in Hiroshima, Japan. He graduated in 2002 from the Nara College of Art, in Kashihara.
His works use a plurality of techniques, based on acrylic, natural pigments and oil painting, whether it's on canvas or paper. His characters may be imaginary or from his daily life, they are omnipresent, represented in a delicate and sensitive manner.
The Japanese artist is famous in his country. In fact, one of his works is part of the permanent collection at the Sado Museum, Nigata. He received many awards, like at the “National Culture Festival". This recognition slowly spread to European galleries, where he is regularly exhibited.
