Philippe Alexandre

Born in 1972 in Fort-de-France, Philippe Alexandre completed all his higher education in Paris. A master's degree in Plastic Arts specializing in new technologies related to the image, Then, a doctorate and a thesis in Art and Art Sciences under the supervision of Anne-Marie Duguet, at the University of Paris I, Center St. Charles. From his thesis work results the realization of an interactive system simulating the process of memory and the creation of Anté-diachronic Archeology. He settled in Martinique where he teaches Plastic Arts at the Lycée and continues his plastic work in which addresses the issues of memory conservation when it is structured by a process of interbreeding. He took part in group exhibitions (Obsessive journeys, shreds of dreams, new flora-reason) and founded in 2015 with Ar Sklerder and Kenny Ozier-Lafontaine the collective "Chien-fer".
