Biography
Translation in progress

Loes van Delft was born on 1 April 1991 in Drunen, the Netherlands. She graduated from the St Lucas Art Academy in June 2012. During her studies, she did an internship with the Supperclub's creative team in Amsterdam where she held her first solo exhibition in January 2011. Crowned with the Best Global Artist Award at the Amsterdam International Art Fair in 2012. Also in 2012 Loes participated in the reality show "Connected" which gave her, and her work, national exposure. Loes van Delft has since then become a key player in the art market. Her works are booming and become a huge investment for contemporary art collectors. Loes van Delft's paintings combine innocent strangeness with a touch of insolent caricature. Its very pop and street style can find common points with the famous Basquiat. Over the years, Loes has developed her highly recognizable character, which she calls "Pjipje". From now on Loes' paintings are exhibited in various exhibitions around the world. She recently exhibited alongside Banksy, sir. Brainwash, Blek Le Rat, D*Face and others in the 3 Punts Galeria in Barcelona. Playboy NL magazine recently made a feature film about her work. Loes is a renowned artist who participated in exhibitions such as Art Basel in Miami Beach but also in South Africa, Australia. The young Dutch girl, as pretty as she is talented, is not likely to stop on such a good path.
