When he settled down in Paris in the 60's, Mark Brusse rubbed shoulders with many groups including New Realists and Fluxus. His art nourishes itself from their claims, namely experiments, found objects and minimalism presages.
The assembly-sculptures of Mark Brusse look a lot like installations, the artist uses limitless materials and works almost organic forms. As for the collages, they are another part of his creation, which he especially developed during a trip to Japan.
