ANNA LENKIEWICZ
Studied painting in Harrow School of Arts in London and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma under the guidance of prof. K. Studnicka and prof. W. Sadley in 1972. She worked in a publishing house in London. She practices painting and sculpture.
Looking at the paintings by Lenkiewicz, at the first sight we see the traditional workshop with all the nuances of easel painting. Then we see the message – which is very contemporary in its form, even timeless. She asks questions about the passage of time. Figures and landscapes remind us of the world of dreams, forgotten sensations and feelings.
