PROF. PIOTR GAWRON (born in 1943)
In 1966 he graduated from the State High School of Arts in Zakopane. In the years 1966-1972 he studied at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, at the ateliers of Zofia Demkowska and Tadeusz Lodziany. Gawron has graduated in 1972 with honors under a guidance of prof. Zofia Demkowska. After graduating in 1973 he has been a teacher at the Sculpture Department. In 1994 he was awarded the title of Professor. Since 2002 he has been running a sculpture workshop. His artistic activity concentrates on portrait and medallion scuplture.
