Born in 1957, Jan Pruski is a painter, sculptor and graphic artist. Living in Olsztyn, He is one of the most important contemporary artists of his country. He has participated since 1994 in several group and solo exhibitions. He is recognized in Poland, Germany, Sweden and Denmark, Jan Pruski has not exhibited in France since 2004 where he represented Poland in the event "Nowa Polska".
In 2005, he was awarded the medal of honor of "Person of Merit for the Polish Culture". He then started working on monumental installations and objects. One of his monumental works is exhibited in the lobby of the four-star Hotel Przystan in Olsztyn, Poland.
