Zofia Matuszczyk-Cyganska (1915-2011)
Polish painter. In 1933, she began studying mathematics at the University of Warsaw, but after a year of studies, she moved to the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw to ateliers of Edward Kokoszka, and then to Mieczys?aw Kotarbinski's. After the war, she studied under Felicjan Szczesny-Kowarski.

After graduating, she started working with the "Lad" cooperative, for which she designed fabrics. The fabrics she designs are among others in the halls of the Palace of Culture and Science, the Grand Hotel and the National Philharmonic. In the years 1950-1954 she was the artistic manager of "Lad". She has also dealt with pedagogical work.

In the fifties and sixties, she began to create abstract paintings composed of small, colorful squares.
Her works are included in the collections of the Textile Museum in Lodz, the National Museum in Warsaw, the Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw, the Museum of Fine Arts Pushkin in Moscow, Museum of Sport and Tourism in Warsaw, Museum of Sport in Prague.
