Juliusz Kosin

Born in 1989 - Poland

Juliusz Kosin is a young Polish painter born in 1989.

He got a degree in painting in 2013 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Krakow. Juliusz Kosin has won several awards, such as the Grand Prize of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the President of Czestochowa award and the Rector's Award of the Academy of Fine Arts.

Juliusz Kosin paints "ephemeral" visions. Space and natural landscapes are his main sources of inspiration, his paintings seem almost abstract. Big cities, buildings, city lights and roads are the characteristic elements of his paintings.

Kosin uses an original perspective, view from the sky in his pieces, a perspective that has a symbolic meaning: the artist eliminates the boundary between realism and abstraction and deeply influences the perception of the observer.
