Stanislav Matsilevich is an artist born in 1987 in Moscow, Russia. He moved to Poland in 2006, and studied in the department of graphic arts and painting of the Academy of Fine Arts of Lodz, Under the tutorship of Professor Slawomir Cwiek.
The artist's black and white imagery captivates at first sight. Dogs are one his favorite subjects and appear repeatedly in his paintings.The aristocratic greyhounds become wild beast in crazy hunting races.
His style ranges from cubist influences to Russian modernism, creating a dynamic result. Some of his pieces are reminiscent of the ascetic style of Russian illustrations, his technique transforms the body of animals into graphic sculptures.
