Anya Belyat-Giunta

Born in: 1975

Russian Federation

Born in St. Petersburg in 1975, Anya Belyat-Giunta is a Russian draftswoman. She lives and works in France.

Anya Belyat-Giunta studied at the Fine Arts school of St. Petersburg, then Florence. She also studied at the Art and Design school of Minneapolis before joining Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse.

She draws inspiration from ancient tales: Alice in Wonderland or The Arabian Nights. Her creations are filled with nuances, with endless lines and colors that gradually fade.

Anya Belyat-Giunta addresses the question of perception. The artist's work is like a place for opposition and transition, where humor leaves room for violence, the beginning becomes the end, it requires the spectator to be attentive and intuitive. Indeed, at first glance, her work is visual, but the truth of the matter is, it calls upon all our senses.
