Marko Gavrilovic is a contemporary artist, a sculptor of light, living and creating in Belgrade (Serbia).

After graduating from the Academy of Applied Arts and Design in 2001 the artist has opened his design studio in 2002 where he paints, draws, illustrates, creates sculptures and works on design projects.

His best known works are the series of bull and city paintings and plastic, sculpturesque artworks with light.

Since the opening of the studio Marko and his team created more than 200 light design projects. His works are often a result of interaction between art and design.

Marko represented his homeland at the International Global 2010 Fine Art Exhibition, an event organised by FIFA World Cup for sports and art lovers, where his painting "Unbeatable" was showcased. He also took part at Milan EXPO, where his light installation “Circle of Light" was representing Serbia.

The artist held 16 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 80 group shows in Serbia, Holland, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Israel, France and USA.

His works belong to Broden Cultural Center (Copenhagen), Museum of Applied Art (Belgrade) and many private collectors around the globe.
