Haritz Guisasola commenced his work back in the 90s, it comprises predominantly figurative paintings. He paints portraits, vanitas, floods, landscapes, still lifes and press photos. He tries to capture the relationship between looking and painting, living and painting. Over the years, mixing colours and drawing has become a regular part of his life. The result is a series of paintings and drawings in different formats, sometimes with unusual components, and some others more realistic.
His first exhibition was in 1997, after that his work has been exhibited in Madrid, Gent, Washington and Bilbao.
