Julio Sarramián (Logroño, 1981) has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca and a degree in Philosophy from the University of Granada. He obtained a Sicue-Seneca scholarship at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Philosophy) and an International Exchange at the University of Buenos Aires (Philosophy), Argentina. It is part of the Intransit file of the UCM. He has given workshops, courses and conferences at the Artifact Festival, at the University of La Rioja, at the Actual Festival and at the Spain Pavilion of the Shanghai Expo 2010 (China). He currently lives and works in Madrid.
He has exhibited individually in cities such as Brussels, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Salamanca, Vigo and Logroño. Collectively in different countries, such as: Belgium, China and Portugal.
Has been awarded or awarded by institutions such as: Ministry of Culture, Community of Madrid, Complutense University of Madrid, Government of La Rioja, Parliament of La Rioja, Logroño City Council, University of Salamanca, Ibercaja, La Gaceta Foundation, BMW or Royal Talens Spain.
