His series ?Short stories?, is defined by a more traditional approach of the medium; sometimes he uses other types of techniques, such as the assemblage or the photomontage and manages to build images that are as fragile as a castle on the edge of crumbling. There is always a surrealistic atmosphere in his images and his allegoric tales are always different. Alfonso Brezmes is a story-teller. He absorbs the viewers in his universe, inviting them to become actors by imagining how the story continues.
