Juan Pro is a Spanish artist who lives in the province of Salamanca.
This is an artist with extensive experience dedicated to painting and sculpture. His specialty is the use of a technique based on the cold fusion of copper and zinc where water serves as a catalyst and fixative. The result obtained by a technique based on a hydrolyzate of copper, zinc and water results in "Prometales", a name that refers to each of the pieces obtained through this process.
Pro is an investigating artist of techniques that manages to generate a balance between represented object and technique to the point of generating in his works organic forms, architectures and structures that allow to obtain works that change with light.
Sculptures and paintings where the canvas is replaced by zinc plates with copper hydrolyzate application, achieving a chromatic range and nuances that acquire great appeal not only aesthetically but also for its innovation and originality.
