Born in 1976 - Thailand
Born in 1976, Kowit Wattanarach is a Thai artist.
Kowit Wattanarach belongs to the new generation of Thai artists, who are bent towards a completely different kind of theme, compared to which was previously evoked and influenced, namely the Buddhist tradition. The artists do more accessible figurative work and are present abroad.
Kowit Wattanarach is strongly inspired by Japanese Manga and his paintings show a new portrayal of the Asian woman, less dominated and discreet and in fact more dominating and predatory.
During his first exhibition, all his paintings were sold. He has been displaying his work not only in Asia but in Europe too since 2013, he exhibited in Antwerp.
