Ferit Iscan lived in Paris where he met some of the painters of Turkish origin also living in Paris, such as Erdal Alantar, Mübin Orhon or Albert Bitran. He was also a friend of other painters like Jean-Pierre Cassigneul, François Aubrun or Claude Clavel.

In the early 1960s, he began a research focused on the simultaneous arrangement of a myriad of colorful keys, which were already a disguised figuration, before a fireworks display began in 1967. was going to dominate especially the blue, with the appearance of silhouettes in these new compositions, often representing souls tortured with the appearance of ectoplasms.

A radical turning point appeared in 1970, the year from which Ferit tackled geometric figures, perspectives, placed directly on bubbling colors.

The late 70's will gradually give way to landscapes, still lifes, studio scenes and even nudes, where the light dominates, the suggested.
