Oskar G was born in Cappadocia in 1948. He left Turkey, left alone at 18 to live his dreams and arrived in Belgium without knowing a word of French.
Many stays in Paris make him discover the passion for art and painting in particular.
He travels in all directions the galleries and museums of the capital, Belgium and elsewhere; finally opens his art gallery in 1982 and spends many hours, days, sometimes nights, in the company of artists such as Somville, Delvaux, Plomteux ... This passion feeds him until the moment when the irrepressible need to express himself by the brush invades him.
With unparalleled enthusiasm, he explores the line in all forms. Moving from the most elaborate geometry to the most timeless fluidity, he juggles with as much ease with black and white than color, thus organizing the space into playful compositions punctuated by cold and warm tones.
