Campbell Addy is a famous British-Ghanaian artist from London. He is a photographer and graduated from the Central Saint Martin in London, he collaborated with fashion magazines. His childhood was marked with the bible and grew up to be a Jehovah's Witness. Later on, he realized the things he had missed as he was shut away from the world and therefore began the adventure of creation.

His portraits are meaningful and complex, they combine sexuality and spirituality. Faith, sexuality, racism and the beauty of a black body are the main characteristics of his work. Through subtlety and lyricism, he borrows a verse from the bible, to name his exhibition, which talks about homosexuality.

"I don't just want to make a beautiful image" says Addy. "I try to also provide a story and a context". He adds on "I thought I didn't deserve being connected with my spirituality as I was gay and condemned. Now I know that it's man who condemns actions-I am a model citizen".

Campbell Addy has increased the number of his collaborations and exhibited in London and Amsterdam, in fairs but also at exhibitions. His publication is magazines was a springboard for his career.
