Daydreaming is escapism, creating alternative worlds to the occasional harsh one of reality. Alex Vanden Bosh has always been a daydreamer, to the occasional frustration of those around him. While the daydream can take us on flights of fancy to anywhere we wish to imagine, sometimes there is a moment of escape in seeing nature in simple, everyday rituals and familiar scenes and faces.
Although born in London, Alex Vanden Bosh spent much of his early life abroad immersed in other cultures. Now, back in his hometown, living in an urban landscape where beauty and access to nature and landscapes can be in short supply, Alex allows his imagination to roam amongst the daily objects and people in his life.
