Christopher Gee is a London based artist born in 1987. He studied his BA Drawing at Camberwell College of Art in 2010 and his MA Drawing at Wimbledon College of Art in 2014.
Inspired Folk Art, the Northern Renaissance and German Romanticism, is work explores quiet isolated scenes. The series "Into the Night" refers to Novalis' Hymn to the Night, where the German poet explores the night as the threshold between the worlds of life and death.
When he is not painting he is exploring forgotten landmarks and overlooked landscapes. His work is now present in public and private collections un the U.K. and is now working on a book out later this year published by Scandinavian publisher "New Heroes and Pioneers".
