Val Hudson

Born in 1960 - United Kingdom

Val Hudson is an English illustrator-artist. She graduated from St. Martins Art School and currently lives in Derbyshire.

She is known for her visual painting, which are filled with emotions and spontaneity, almost ephemeral. The artist creates works whose dreamlike universe is accompanied with shapes and colors symbolizing our memories and imagination. This silent dialog between the painting and spectator calls upon our senses.

Val Hudson works with a combination of oils and wax on canvas, which is later engraved in order to highlight some surfaces and colors.
