After a troubled childhood and an eventful adolescence, Birdy Freeman finds his way in painting. It is with a strong personality that he creates works that reflect his life: tears, scars, thickness, fragility, strength and above all depth. He tagged STEAL and OZ from 1985 to 1990, then KOSHIZ in the 90s on 5 continents and in particular in the United States where he lived. In 2000 he abandoned the vandal tag for the web. Birdy Freeman is known to have photocopied his canvases made in the studio in real size, then pasted them in urban space, often on bus shelters.
