Above (born in 1981 in San Francisco) became known in Paris at the beginning of the 2000s by painting (especially on vans) large arrows, pointed upwards, thus indicating an "above", a "at the top" , see a "up" visual translation of the word above. He continues this self-promotion approach, common to the majority of urban artists, by suspending his arrows from the electric wires of San Francisco, captioned with the verb "rise". Since the mid-2005s, he has been painting sentences around the world in English, Spanish and even French.
