David Kassan is an American painter, born in 1997.
He obtained his B.B.A in Visual arts and interpretation at the Syracuse University, New York. Following this, he joined the National Academy of the Art Students League in NYC.
David Kassan paints the intimate, a portrait artist who is able to capture his model's essence through puzzling realistic paintings. It's more than just a person, it's aesthetics of humanity and he immortalizes this on canvas.
He's a researcher, his aim is get hold of individuality's essence, he pares down and analyzes. One can see the blood vessels under the wrinkled hands, one can feel the heat it emanates and the thick respiration. One has the impression of being able to touch his protagonists as illusion is at it's peak.
