Mark Todd is an American illustrator, born during the 70’s near Las Vegas. He studied at the Art Center College of Design and obtained his diploma with honors in 1993 then moved to New York and embarked on a career as an illustrator. He began working with major names like the Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, not to mention Sony Music. In 2003, he decided to move back to Los Angeles with his family, he still lives and works there today.

Like many artists of his generation, Mark Todd has been influenced by comic strips from his childhood and by Star Wars. His illustrative style is inseparable from this universe.

Mark Todd has the peculiarity of including words, symbols, books and even audio material in his works. His creations remind us of childhood, especially due to several references to comic strips and codes. The universe of this artist is joyful, dreamy and is a way to getaway for the spectator.

Mark Todd’s work is present in several private and public collections, these include the James Michener Collection at the University of Texas, Austin, San Jose Museum of Art in California and San Antonio Museum of Art. The illustrator has also published several books.
