France Born in: 1981

Kashink, one of the few girls very active in the street art / graffiti movement, is an atypical person. She often wears a mustache, she paints huge protean figures with multiple eyes, or Mexican skulls, all in a very colorful graphic style, far from the traditional references of girly feminine graffiti.

Her work, which draws inspiration from both her Slavic and Hispanic origins, Pop Art and narrative illustration, is both very present in the streets and in the galleries where she often exhibits. She is more and more requested to present her works abroad (Canada, United States, Europe) and to paint the walls of European cities, in particular London, Vienna, Ibiza, Bristol, Madrid, Berlin and Paris where she lives.

Kashink claims a committed painting, on the principle that painting in the street allows to send real messages on a large scale. Among the themes that are close to her heart, we find taboo subjects in our society, such as equality of rights between men and women, homosexuality, religion, finitude ... She regularly creates frescoes for equality rights (Act Up) and acts on a voluntary basis for associations such as the Voice of the Child and Emmaüs. She wants street art to remain a militant act.

Definitely free and independent, it is rare in the field of publishing and that of galleries, but the FRAG support with its obvious and authentic relationship with the street convinced the artist.
