Muriel Deumie

France Born in: 1979

Born in 1979, Muriel Deumie is a French painter. Inspired by abstract art, the shimmering and vivid colors and patterns represented in her works unquestionably evoke street art. The colors and street art style of Muriel Deumie's creations are also reminiscent of the work of French artist Tony Tichene (1971).

Muriel Deumie's works allow the latter to exhibit her most abstract thoughts. She evokes and illustrates her deepest feelings and her life.

"" The evolution of my paintings, of my style follows my personal evolution made of a desire to express then to master or even sublimate a representation of the world. " (Muriel Deumie)

His works do not represent life realistically. The artist fully appropriates his creations. It puts down the formal conceptions and norms of art.

The expressiveness of the artist is reflected in his way of painting. The traces are visible and the viewer can very well imagine the artist painting his work. The colors, the patterns are all carefully chosen by the artist in order to get closer to a pictorial harmony. The artist uses acrylic paint, it is not uncommon to see on some of his paintings writings that illustrate his thought. His art is alive, expressive, colorful and bright.
