Pascal Ragoucy

Born in: 1961

France

Born in Gap in the Hautes Alpes region in 1961, Pascal Ragoucy is a photographer who lives and works in France. Before turning towards, photography and fine arts in 2003, Pascal Ragoucy embarked on a career far from creative work. Self-taught, he has been taking pictures since a long time but depicting realism isn't his field, he works with strokes, drawing or etching. In his apparent dual approach which combines, confrontation and deletion-he wishes to represent the empty aspect. The notion of decay and perpetual rebirth, He portrays this aspect through black and white photos with purity and bewitching light.
