Marc Mercier

France

Born in 1968, Marc Mercier is a French photographer, who has been working since 20 years. Trained as an archaeologist, Marc Mercier began working as a scientific photographer for research laboratories before developing his own personal photography. Specialized in taking snapshots, silver and digital image processing, and audiovisual chain post-production, Marc Mercier worked for several years in research laboratories and taught at E.S.A.V. (École Supérieure d’Audio-Visuel, in Toulouse) and UTM (Université Toulouse). The most recent photos of Mercier play around with the reflection of water, natural elements transform into graphically refined plotted lines. His work has led him to collaborate in several international photographic and audiovisual projects. His photos have been exhibited in several French galleries.
