Jasminka Keres

Born in: 1963

Jasminka Keres is a self-taught, amateur photographer from Croatia, born in 1963, she spent her childhood between Croatia and Serbia.

After spending some years in Germany, she joined her father in France in 1977, where she learned all the mysteries of the darkroom in black and white photography development workshops.

Jasmina Keres draws her inspiration from topics like architecture, nature, life scenes, in order to put in an image an imaginary world of her own. She enjoys each stage of the creative process, from the staging, the preparation of the model, to the crucial phase of post-treatment, which is the stage where the photograph becomes a unique piece.
