Leroy Brothers

Born in: 1997

Leroy Brothers is a group of artists that started with the work of three brothers, Nicolas, Gilles and Gregory Leroy, respectively born in 1979, 1978 and 1975 in Belgium. Nicolas studied at Villar Arson and graduated from the London Metropolitan University, Gilles and Gregory are self-taught. They decided to unite their talents in 1997. They live between Belgium and France.

Leroy Brothers use mainly the internet to create their artwork from (Postinternet Art) and (New Media Art). These new types of art have in common the massive usage of digital techniques in order to create modern pieces, reflecting the new and connected world in which we live today.

In 2010, the trio was chosen to participate in the Shanghai World Expo at "Jing'an Sculpture Park". They made an exhibition at the MMOMA in Moscow as well, and were part of the New Digital Art Biennale, known as "The Wrong"
