Agathon

France Born in: 1979

Artiste française autodidacte née en 1979, Agathon a animé ses premières surfaces sous la double influence de la Figuration libre et du Street Art.

C’est de ces deux attractions qu’est né chez elle le désir de tout colorer, dans le grand format. Colorer des toiles, des panneaux, des murs, des kakemonos, et aussi ses grandes sculptures en matériaux de synthèse.

C’est cette diversité des supports, et sa technique du cerné qui lui ont fait choisir le pinceau à la bombe, y compris pour les murs.

En 2011 Agathon s’explose au Musée en Herbe aux côtés de Speedy Graphito.

A partir de là se sont multipliées les expositions en galerie, les performances murales, mais aussi les décors de théâtre et de cinéma, et jusqu’à la couverture de « Journal d’hirondelle » d’Amélie Nothomb conçu comme un mur dans son petit format de poche.
