Presentation
Art Works Paris Seoul, established in Seoul's Bukchon area in 2014, has since been at the forefront of introducing selected works by artists, including Dansaekhwa masters, the video artist Namjune Paik, and contemporary Korean artists based in France. The gallery is particularly interested in showing how the unique aesthetics of artists born and raised in Korea—such as Hur Kyung-Ae and Lee Eu—can have specific development within the contact of the international and French art scene. Art Works Paris Seoul aims to continue to discover and present the works of France-based artists to audiences across Korea and other Asian countries.
