I was born in 1981, after primary school I went to high school and graduated from high school in 2000. After graduating I studied medicine and worked as a doctor in surgery for eight years. Then I switched to a recruitment agency for medical staff. I am now the managing director here. I am married and have two young children. In my professional career I had no contact with art, but I grew up with art, my grandfather was a painter and my father also painted a lot. In school I had an advanced art course with Günter Wagner, a student of Markus Lüpertz. I wanted to study art at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, but ultimately decided to study medicine. I always painted sporadically, in 2021 I rediscovered painting for myself.
