The 193 Gallery continues its contemporary art world tour by presenting from the 10th of July to 1rst September, 2019 a collective exhibition of art from 12 countries, with a daring mix between Japanese neo-pop, Chilean digital art, Caribbean art and photographs around the world.
During her first year, the 193 Gallery mainly highlighted Asia (through Japan, Thailand and India), South America and the Caribbean (Chile, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba).
Several trips to Tokyo, Santiago and Havana in order to discover artists' workshops and local art scenes have enabled the 193 Gallery teams to select the most promising emerging artists.
Between feather totem sculptures, a tribute to the Brazilian Amazon forests, photographs of Peruvian, Mexican or Puerto Rican carnival creatures, and artworks that question Caribbean identity, the 193 Gallery wishes to commend non-Western contemporary art, which is too little represented in Europe.
