I'm Artist painter and calligrapher, I'm fascinated by techniques using ink on absorbent paper, particularly Far Eastern painting and calligraphy.

I paint on light Hanji paper, Chinese ink and luminous pigments from Korea.

The work is then mounted and stretched on a wooden support.

The absorbent paper, which retains all traces of our passage, makes it impossible to repent, which helps us to refine our intentions and develop mastery of the gesture, a guarantee of truth in the trace, of spontaneity.

This was the main reason for my conversion to Far Eastern techniques, which I learned in France and China, after training in drawing and a personal inspiration centred on watercolour and pastel.

I like to place the ink on the thin, inviting layer of Asian paper, paying close attention to the gesture. My inspirations are essentially linked to nature and the signs of Chinese calligraphy, with the intention of letting the light pass through the gesture.
