Biography
Born in South Africa, Wietzie left Cape Town for the United Kingdom and then Canada. After a long career as a lawyer, she began taking painting classes at the Emily Carr School in Vancouver. Abstract floral artist Bobbie Burgers became his mentor and painting his raison d'être.
Wietzie left Canada in 2013 and moved to France where she has lived and painted since.
Several personal exhibitions have been dedicated to him in France, the United States, Spain, China and Japan. She exhibits permanently in France, China and Japan.
