Biography
Marguerite Maliuga was born in Ukraine in Energodar in 1984 - She has lived and worked in France since 2019 - After studying with recognized masters of Ukrainian decorative art at the "Classic" University of Zaporija, she perfected her art and invented new expressive means - After her studies, the artist was invited to exhibit in regional and national museums of arts and traditions - Arriving in France in 2019, she continues to exhibit her works, she receives the second prize of the Grand Concours de Peyrolles en Provence in 2021, and the gold medal of the Grand Concours de l'Académie des Arts Plastiques de Provence in 2023 -
Marguerite Maliuga's paintings depict a fantastic nature full of emotions, feelings and dreams. Admiration of the ornaments of traditional painting of her country, legends, Slavic tales that impressed her in her childhood and youth, determined her path in art. Color, form and volume are the expressive means of the artist. She designs and paints works as real talismans, the symbols of which are carriers of beauty, energy and happiness. Her artistic and spiritual approach is rooted in the artistic and philosophical tradition of Ukraine.
Numerous exhibitions since 2009 in Ukraine and since 2019 in Provence, his paintings are now sold in many countries.
