Myriam Trova

Myriam Trova was born on April 2, 1958 in Belfort, the city where she took her first artistic steps, her mother having enrolled her in the Museum of Fine Arts at the age of 12. At 18, Myriam entered the Beaux Arts in Besançon. She began her professional career with a decorator, where she designed sets that she adapted in several stores in her region.

But Myriam on the move and dreams of escape, she left France, traveled to several countries of the world and settled in Ivory Coast, founded a family there while continuing to draw and paint for herself.

After 8 years away, back in France, she goes around all the advertising agencies in Paris with her portfolio under her arm. A lot of refusal, waiting, hope until the day when a director of a big agency believes in her and hires her as Rough Man to end up artistic director. For 20 years, Myriam drew, created posters, press advertising inserts, produced advertising spots for various agencies while continuing to attend artistic workshops and participate in several exhibitions.

Then a new start in Marseille, the sun, the sea, the mountains, the creeks inspire him, new artistic encounters and a Chinese Master who teaches him the painting of his country for 3 years.

All his travels around the world, his sometimes unusual cultural and artistic encounters have shaped his way of painting. Myriam still lives in Marseille.
