Duo Show Max and Mr Bonheur For this exhibition, we have chosen to solicit two artists from Crew 132. After many years spent enhancing the Parisian grayness, Max and Mr Bonheur are currently working in their workshop in Joinville and are offering us for this exhibition their latest creations on canvas. MAX is a visual artist born in Champigny-sur-Marne. Passionate about cartoons and comics from an early age. "Child of HipHop" it was after discovering the achievements of graffiti artists such as Mode2 or Number6 at the beginning of the 90s that he became interested in graffiti then, with his high school friends, founded several crews until founding the BZ (Bavaria & Zetla crew) which would later become the 132. With this crew, he worked in the capital for years and became known to insiders. In addition to graffiti, he is also passionate about graphics and deepened his knowledge, in particular by passing a Technical Certificate as a model designer. He then developed several comic book projects such as Vision, A ta santé or the illustration of a collection of poems (Black series for white cities). He also produces illustrations for IV my people, album covers, visuals for T-shirts, etc. Rich in his past experiences, today MAX wishes to share his vision of the world and his universe to a wide audience. He now devotes himself to making his own paintings with a view to exhibiting them. He developed a style combining the language of comics in general (comics, manga, Franco-Belgian, etc.), graffiti expression through the exclusive use of aerosol cans and the pop aesthetic of graphics! Born in the Yvelines, David Bonheur (his real name) has always been attracted to art in general; he enters an art school, Elisa Lemonnier, where he learns graphic arts and at the same time meets graffiti artists such as members of 132 who will inspire him and introduce him to graffiti, he begins by working as a graphic designer - illustrator, then DA in various communication studios. Then he tries his hand at mattepainting, in a special effects studio where he learns to mix 3d images and photos to compose realistic sets, initially to use his own photos, then he decides to buy a camera and another universe opens up to him: photography, in particular, fashion photography and portraiture His work is the continuity of his photographic work, diversions of portraits of various icons, a production realistic and poetic with a touch of humor and a completely playful dimension. Passionate about biographies, the destiny of a lifetime, he enjoys transposing a known character into the skin of another known character, as if to give them a new story, a new destiny. he creates a language or a game that invites us to compare our similarities and differences.
