Biography

Diana Velásquez lives and works in Madrid.

Graduated in Fine Arts from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá (2002). She completed an Advanced Painting course at the Arts Students League of NY (2000). In 2004 she moved to Madrid where she completed a Master's Degree in Theory and Practice of Contemporary Fine Arts at the Complutense University (2004). She obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Painting from the same university (2007). She also completed an online Master's Degree in Management and Administration of OACs (Artistic and Cultural Organizations), IArt, (2012). More recently, she has led workshops with various artists such as Marlon de Azambuja, Ignasi Aballí, Joan Morey, etc.
