Lukas Kandl Czech painter naturalized French represents a magical and fantastic surrealist style where nothing is left to chance.
His work pays homage to the great masters.
From his chimeras drawn from his fantastic bestiary, alchemical and esoteric themes. The painter offers us a suspended gaze on his painting: hermetic and classic.
Kandl's works are encrypted with symbols and icons that captivate wonderfully. Working with traditional materials on wooden and canvas supports, each piece is richly coloured, textured and sensual.
Kandl's paintings have been widely exhibited throughout Europe and are held in public and private collections.
