Hipolythée

Hipolythée was born the April 24, 1972. She is originary from Crepy-en-Valois (Oise) where she has her studio today. She holds a doctorate in architecture and environmental design from the Ecole Camondo and she teaches applied arts in different Parisian schools, particularly at the Boulle School, and the Elisa Lemonnier high school .

We are in a time of crisis, a time of fear and hatred, a time of rancor; tie flies, time destroys everything, time worries us. Hipolythee dares to answer to all the conspirators in an era of suspicion.

Hipolythee challenges us to change the world and the things that inhabit it by doing good. In her work, a work built with time, and not against it, everything is a symbol! Knock and the doors to her universe will open; answer and she will answer you through her paintings, believe in the future and you will see that nothing is lost, not even paradise.

Through her paintings, Hipolythee shows that the world is an eternal recommencement except if ... She forces us look through a different window, to watch otherwise, to position ourselves differently, to get inspiration from the tales of our childhood, our buried dreams and salutary fears.
