Biography

Ferdinand Springer (Berlin, Germany, 1907 - Grasse, France, 1998) is a painter and engraver associated to the New School of Paris.

In 1928 he moved to France. After a lifetime of work dedicated to abstract painting, towards the end of his life Ferdinand Springer painted free figurative, reinvented landscapes.
