Gerard Le Nalbaut was born in Lorient in 1946. From his childhood spent looking at the evading ships, this autodidact painter kept embarked dreams. His expression always luminous, charms thanks to the delicacy of the work of the materials, the mastered art of transparency, and the blazing strength of the tons of this audacious colorist.
The inspiration is always dreamlike, at the limit of abstraction. In the evanescence of his models wearing diaphanous dresses that the luxurious flora dressed with a marvellous tropical symphony, each of us will invent his muse.
