Presentation
Jean-Claude Bertrand is a painter born in 1948. He graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Nancy. He first made a career in the world of advertising and then devoted himself entirely to his artistic approach in 1997. Painting is for him a journey through the senses. It allows him to transcribe his sensory emotions in a melodious way.
He has the art of deciphering the vibrations and emotions that music gives us as well, particularly through jazz, wine, perfume or the mysteries of the meaning of life. These inner emotions take the form of abstract art on the canvas that speak for them. He always seeks to convey to the viewer what he feels in harmony. Accompanied by color and material, guided by his gestures, his works speak for his senses.
The painter's works travel across Europe, in France, but also in Germany, Switzerland and Spain where he has been exhibited. Jean-Claude Bertrand is a member of the Maison des Artistes and a member of the Taylor Foundation.
